The copyright of open access would be assigned as per the creative commons licence and terms of publishing (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/) The following licence attributions would be available:

OCC BY-ND
This license allows for redistribution, commercial and non-commercial, as long as it is passed along unchanged and in whole, with credit to you.

CC BY-NC-ND
This license is the most restrictive of our six main licenses, only allowing others to download your works and share them with others as long as they credit you, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.

However if you wish to assign any other creative commons licences, you may contact edassist@npplbooks.com

For open access publishing the Book Processing Charges (BPC) will apply. To know the BPC for your book please contact edassist@npplbooks.com. This may require submission of your work and discussion of other determinants prior to an estimate of BPC be provided.

Commercial Publishing

NPPLbooks offers authors opportunity for commercial publishing whereby they can earn royalties from their published work. To qualify for this the authors will need to transfer the copyrights to the publishers for a duration agreed upon and during this period of agreement the copyrights cannot be assigned to someone else. This is applicable for publication in other language and for derivative and secondary publications for the period of agreement. The authors will be at liberty to continue the agreement or transfer the agreement to other publisher after expiry of the agreed period. A sample copy of such terms and conditions is available here.

The standard royalty is 10% on the price the work is sold (Actual price) and will not be calculated at the maximum retail price of the book if the two differs. The copies provided to the author and those distributed free for promotion in agreement with the authors will also not qualify for calculation of royalty.
